Joining the Party

Greetings, friends and strangers. How ever you managed to stumble upon my blog, whether it be via Facebook, Twitter, the most random text you’ve ever gotten from me, or you got bored and Googled “video game blogs”, I want to thank you for taking the time to even read up to this point.

-A little about myself and why I decided to create this blog-

I’m a Business Management major gone rogue. After my first year at college, I discovered my love for video games and decided to go against everything most parents ever suggest as a career, and switched my major so that I could play video games for a living. Imagine trying to tell THAT to your parents… I am now declaring a Journalism major, and my top ideal career is to write for IGN, the famous game magazine in California. I have four years of college until I can pursue that dream, but the time is passing rather quickly.

As you continue to read my stories (which I would LOVE if you did) you’ll learn more and more about me and my passion for games. For now, I hope you are content with a short “hello-and-thank-you” post.

If you like what you see so far, “like” and re-blog and share; do all that really cool stuff. Maybe follow me if you really like it. This is Brad Austin, Signing Off.

  1. Love the enthusiast I see over here, I would suggest for you to look out for a different layout though, I got confused about it as it seems like if something went wrong during the load of the page (just my personal opinion).

We are really alike, yet I haven’t really changed my major or anything, but we are on the same path when it comes to journalism, I might not have the studies, but definitely have the willingness. If anything, hit me up and I can throw some advices or anything -not like I knew a lot though hahaha-

    Anyways, good luck!

    • Thanks a ton for the comment! I definitely agree that I need a new layout. It’s taking me a while to get used to all the admin options, but I’ll get it eventually.

I’ll for sure take you up on your offer for advice. Again, really appreciate the comment, man. \m/
